Créé durant l’hiver 2021 par la rencontre entre quatre musiciens issus de la scène montpelliéraine, SOMOS GENTE est un groupe qui explore un répertoire essentiellement caribéen (salsa cubaine, biguine martiniquaise, samba brésilienne);

La formation est articulée autour de Carlos Pelegrino Dominguez, chanteur d’origine cubaine ; pour l’accompagner, Benjamin Thiébault aux claviers, Frédéric Léger à la contrebasse et Karl Moussavou à la batterie.

Created during the winter of 2021 by the meeting between four musicians from the Montpellier scene, SOMOS GENTE is a group that explores an essentially Caribbean repertoire (Cuban salsa, Martinican biguine, Brazilian samba);

The band is formed around Carlos Pelegrino Dominguez, singer of Cuban origin; to accompany him, Benjamin Thiébault on keyboards, Frédéric Léger on double bass and Karl Moussavou on drums.
