Rendez-vous le 05 Février autour d’un apéritif pour un concert jazz accompagné d’un live painting de l’artiste peintre Well Rimo pour son exposition « Le Nouchi » !
« Jazz Trio »
Pour cette événement, notre pianiste résident Benjamin Thiébault viendra nous ensorceler avec une formation guitare et contrebasse. Composé d’Hugo Guezbar et Yoann Godefroy, ce trio effervescent saura vous emmener dans leur univers influencé par les grands noms du jazz autant que par des musicien.ne.s plus récent.e.s !
Benjamin Thiébault se produit sur la scène de nombreux jazz clubs (Duc des Lombards à Paris, Bimhuis à Amsterdam, Hot Clube de Portugal à Lisbonne), et participe à plusieurs tournées à l’international. Il se consacre désormais à l’enseignement et à ses différents projets, y compris le trio pour lequel il écrit la musique.
Hugo Guezbar, formidable guitariste montpelliérain, est un de ces jeunes nouveaux talents de la guitare manouche et de jazz qui tire ses influences d’artistes tels que Wes Montgomery.
Yoann Godefroy débute la contrebasse en 2006 avec le groupe de jazz manouche « One more swing ». Il entretient de nombreuses collaborations musicales notamment un trio formé avec Benoît Martin et Simon Bernier avec lequel il jouera tous les jeudi pendant 8 ans au club de jazz le 38riv’ à Paris. Arrivé en 2017 à Montpellier, il explore différents styles musicaux dans la région naviguant entre musique des Balkans et Samba brésilienne sur la vague du swing.

Venez découvrir les oeuvres de Well Rimo artiste inspiré par les mouvement Pop Art, Art Brut et de l’Art du recyclé ou « upcycling » Passionné de peinture depuis tout petit, c’est à Abidjan sa ville natale qu’il connait ses premiers succès.
Aujourd’hui résidant à Montpellier, il continue à exprimer sa passion à travers des tableaux aux couleurs vives dans lesquels l’expression de son intérieur s’extériorise, se propulse comme un cri du coeur sur le support.

For this event, our resident pianist Benjamin Thiébault will bewitch us with a guitar and double bass formation. Composed of Hugo Guezbar and Yoann Godefroy, this effervescent trio will take you into their universe influenced by the big names in jazz as much as by more recent musicians!
Benjamin Thiébault performs on the stage of many jazz clubs (Duc des Lombards in Paris, Bimhuis in Amsterdam, Hot Clube de Portugal in Lisbon), and participates in several international tours.
